HISTORY:
Consorcio Empresarial AGNAV S.A. is the service and development company of the Shougang Group in Peru. It was founded on November 10, 1969.
Initially it was called AGENTES NAVIEROS SAN NICOLÁS S.A. The objective of the company’s constitution was to dedicate itself to the activities of shipping agents, as representatives of national or foreign companies; in addition to maritime trade and in any other commercial branch.
In 1996, due to operational improvements and the need to venture into other commercial activities, Agentes Navieros San Nicolas changed it’s name to CONSORCIO EMPRESARIAL AGNAV S.A., until today.
Currently, It’s main activities are: providing port agency services, shipping agency services, maritime transportation and land transportation. It also performs all kinds of foreign trade activities and project activities.

To get from Lima to Puerto San Nicolas in Marcona, which is located in the region of Ica, you must follow these steps:
Follow the Panamericana Sur until you reach the city of Nazca. The distance is approximately 450 km and the trip can take about 6-8 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
From Nazca, take the road that heads towards Marcona. This road will take you south and then west towards Marcona. The distance from Nazca to Marcona is approximately 120 km, and the trip can take about 2-3 hours.
