Consorcio Empresarial Agnav S.A. obtains homologation with Shougang Mining Company.

It is a mining company that exploits, processes and markets iron ore from its deposits located on the southern coast of Peru, approximately 530 kilometers from the city of Lima, in the district of Marcona, province of Nasca in the Ica Region, from where high grade concentrates are obtained for the production of mining products. The metallurgical mining complex of Shougang Hierro Perú S.A.A. comprises 3 areas: Mina, San Nicolás and San Juan.

Mine

With approximately 150 km2 of extension, it is the place where exploration and mineral exploitation works are permanently carried out under the open pit system; drilling and shooting, so that later the mineralized rocks are transported by shovels and dump trucks with a capacity of up to 150 tons to the crushers, from where after the crushing process, the mineral is stacked and then transported to San Nicolás, through a belt of approximately 15.3 kilometers long and with a capacity of 2000 tons per hour.

This is the beneficiation area, where minerals go through a series of stages until they become one of the products marketed by the Company.

San Juan

With a population of more than 16 thousand inhabitants, is where our mining camp and administrative offices are located, which are responsible for controlling and ensuring the proper progress of operations and interrelationships with workers, the community in general and its areas of influence, making the presence of Shougang Hierro Perú S.A.A. in the Ica Region increasingly beneficial for everyone.

Consorcio Empresarial Agnav S.A., obtains the certification of homologation 2023 with Minera de Shougang Hierro Perú SA.

Bereau Veritas has granted Consorcio Empresarial Agnav S.A. the certificate of homologation 2023, which entitles the company to be qualified with the highest standards of quality and suitability in the service they are providing; together with the operational, administrative and financial capacity that allow them to safely and reliably provide personalized services to the customer in all its operations.
